Our client is a successful professional institution providing membership services, they’re looking for a confident and motivated Press & Social Media Manager to join their team. This exciting position will play a key role in digital external comms activity as part of a dedicated and passionate team.

As Press & Social Media Manager you will promote this industry leading professional body through producing high quality content including press releases, effective website management, and managing innovative social media campaigns.
Your expertise in managing digital press lists and building media relationships with trade, regional and national journalists will be invaluable in this dynamic PR and digital marketing role. In this exciting Press & Social Media Manager position you will also be responsible for updating the organisation’s website, ultimately helping to ensure the company continues to be recognised as industry expert for its current and future members and external journalists.

- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Creative content copywriting skills – press releases, reactive press comments, social media
- Good networking skills
- Previous experience gate-keeping media inquiries and managing social channels
- Website editing skills
- Basic design skills (Adobe Suite is a bonus)
