Since Spotlight Recruitment started in 2008, we have had the pleasure to work with some ambitious clients across the insurance sector, including insurance groups, brokers, agencies and credit insurance companies. Very recently, we were approached by a global credit insurance company that works across 50+ countries. This new client was looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Executive to join their Special Products team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility of continuing on a permanent basis.
After an unsuccessful internal recruitment process, our client approached Spotlight Recruitment to help source a motivated marketer with a marketing-related degree, as well as some previous marketing experience ideally from insurance or professional services. We were briefed that this role would involve creating a broad range of marketing and communications materials, to ultimately support business growth and customer retention. This recruitment was highlighted as urgent, so our experienced team swiftly got to work, firstly allocating a dedicated Account Manager with experience in the insurance sector, to devise a bespoke campaign that would identify ideal candidates. After the Spotlight team had conducted a thorough interviewing and shortlisting process, a selection of highly qualified candidates was presented to our client. From the first pool of candidates, five individuals were put forward for a first-stage video interview. With two candidates withdrawing due to other job offers, we also put forward a few other suitable candidates to the client that were identified through a second in-depth search. Ultimately, out of the six successful first-stage interviews, two extremely well-matched candidates were shortlisted to a second-stage interview which involved a marketing campaign plan task.
After two very insightful second interviews, our client made their decision and offered the role to the stand-out candidate who seemed like a great cultural fit for the business. The whole process, from initial enquiry to official job offer, took about 4 short weeks; both the client and The Spotlight Team were extremely pleased with this result. Our focus is always on a streamlined recruitment process, ensuring a transparent line of communication with candidates and working closely to ensure results are achieved. After yet another speedy and efficient process, we were happy to successfully recruit on behalf of our new client and look forward to working with them again in the future.
