One of our most notable clients is a global restaurant brand, with over 360 locations worldwide. They are a high-profile, household name who are especially renowned for their social media and events marketing. Spotlight Recruitment has hired exclusively for this client over many years and has had a direct impact on driving their social media and digital success by placing most of their current UK Marketing team in their roles.
Most recently, we were tasked with sourcing a Marketing Executive and a Digital & CRM Executive to join their growing marketing team in the UK. Though the two positions had slightly different requirements, our client was looking for two junior marketers, with a passion for the food and drink industry, some experience in copywriting and email marketing, and educated to degree level. Assured by our past success with this particular client, we allocated a dedicated Account Manager who conducted rigorous research and executive search and devised a tailored campaign to deliver well-matched candidates.
After the Spotlight team had performed an interviewing and shortlisting process to ensure candidates were a great fit, a selection of highly relevant candidates was delivered to our client. To our delight, the client selected all of our candidates to interview. The interview process involved one of their international offices and consisted of a short introductory phone call, a short content creation task, and two interviews with different senior members of the marketing team to follow. For each of these roles, two of the candidates sourced by the Spotlight Recruitment team were put forward for the final interview.
As a result of a successful interview process and candidates that aligned well with the company and its values, both marketing positions were offered to candidates that were presented by our team. Both candidates had excellent, relevant experience in food and drink, and were deemed a natural cultural fit within the company.
