Since Spotlight Recruitment was founded in 2008, we have had the opportunity to recruit on behalf of many high-profile clients operating in the entertainment sector. Over the years, we have developed a valued relationship with a global entertainment organisation. Recently, they approached our team with the task of recruiting a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Manager to join their UK team.
Our client was looking to hire a CRM Manager on a twelve-month fixed term contract basis, so it was Spotlight Recruitment’s responsibility to source candidates that would be suited to this working arrangement. We were briefed that the ideal candidate would need experience in direct marketing, campaign planning, and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce. In addition to this, the candidate would be a self-starter with a passion for CRM, with the ability to multi-task projects. Our client was looking to hire for this position as soon as possible, so our team quickly got to work. We followed our usual process of allocating a devoted Account Manager, who had expertise in recruiting for CRM roles, who then designed a bespoke recruitment campaign to source highly relevant candidates. After conducting rigorous executive search, our process involves coordinating our own interviewing and shortlisting stage to ensure that candidates put forward to the client are the right fit for the organisation.
Once we had presented a handful of well-matched candidates to our client, they decided to take three individuals forward to interview. For this particular process, there were a total of two stages – one online video interview and a second interview in the office. As a result of two successful interviews, one of these candidates was deemed a great fit within the organisation and was thought to have highly relevant experience for this role, so was swiftly offered the position of CRM Manager. The whole process, from client briefing to candidate offer, took a total of a few short weeks, highlighting the ease and seamlessness Spotlight Recruitment can bring to the recruitment process.
