Job Description:
Our client, a fast-growing business in the financial sector, is looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join their expanding team. They are searching for a hands-on design expert who can create visually appealing and easy-to-use digital products across web and applications. In addition to flexible hybrid working, our client offers an annual performance-based bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave, and pension and family healthcare schemes.
As UI/UX Designer, you will take the lead on gathering user requirements through marketing research and designing graphic elements and building navigation components that ensure smooth and seamless user journeys. You will work collaboratively with user interface designers, web developers, graphic designers and marketers on various projects. It is essential that you have the ability to adapt quickly to new technology, as well as staying up to date with developments in the field and industry advancements.
Using your passion for all things design and user experience, you will work to successfully transform user requirements into attractive interfaces for web and mobile platforms, assigning tasks to team members and coordinating activities when required. What do I need?
- Proven experience as a UI-UX Designer with a strong project portfolio
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Figma, Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop)
- Proficient in prototyping and wireframing tools (Sketch, InVision, Axure RP, Balsamiq etc.)
- Knowledge of PHP frameworks (Laravel, Cake PHP, CodeIgniter & Pyro CMS)
- Knowledge of CMS platforms (Shopify, WordPress, JavaScript etc.)
- Excellent communication skills to articulate your ideas, designs & suggestions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Good attention to detail and an eye for design
- Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript a plus!
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar) is a plus!
