As Media Account Manager, you will play a key role in the team as you will be responsible for planning, buying, managing, analysing, and reporting on all campaigns, acting as the point of contact for all your clients. Managing Premium Property and Non-Property Specialist accounts, you will take the time to develop and understand your clients’ needs, ensuring that advertising projects not only fit the brief, but are delivered on time and within budget. In this role, you will be working across all media channels where you will be responsible for planning and buying, developing communications and media strategies, and negotiating media partnerships.
In addition to bringing expert media knowledge, you will need to be a confident, communicative candidate that can successfully develop relationships with senior colleagues, ensuring that client work is up to standard. You will also have the opportunity to guide and teach the accounts team, helping more junior members grow into successful Account Managers. Our client is looking for a detailed-oriented, self-motivated media expert who can creatively solve problems, manage a team, and lead projects.
What do I need?
- At least 2 years’ experience in account management
- A sound understanding of traditional and digital media
- A clear understanding of the advertising market
- A keen interest in the analytical side of media and advertising
- Knowledge of planning and buying across all media channels
- Excellent project management skills
- An analytical approach to briefs and media plans
- Client servicing experience
- Knowledge of the creative side to media planning
