Marketing Manager – Professional Institution

Job Description:

Our client is a leading professional institution consisting of around 16,000 members, both corporate and individual, with the key purpose of maintaining standards within the industry. They are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to act as a brand guardian and oversee all marketing and communications activity.

As Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the annual communications and marketing plan. Using your first-rate line management skills, you will oversee a small marketing and communications team, including hands-on involvement in events planning, content creation, website maintenance, and CRM. In addition to planning and implementing the PR and media relations plans, you will also develop partnerships with external organisations.

In this role, you will utilise your strong line management experience and varied marketing background to lead the marketing and communications team and increase awareness of this supportive organisation!

What do I need?

• Highly organised and creative strategic mindset
• A degree in marketing or similar
• Strong experience across the full marketing mix
• Experience in events and dealing with the media
• A background in briefing external creative teams to produce 1st rate content
• An effective and open communication style (verbal and written)
• Strong people management skills
• Effective budget management skills
• Membership of a marketing (or similar) professional body is a bonus!
