Deputy Editor – Publishing & Online Media

Job Description:

Our client is a dynamic, fast-growing online media platform that specialise in sharing the latest news in tech innovation and enterprise tech. Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring on board a creative, ambitious Deputy Editor who can take a lead in shaping their editorial content, working with some of the world’s leading tech brands. This is a fully remote role, with monthly team meetings, and the opportunity to travel internationally. In addition to flexible working, our client offers unlimited holiday, travel expenses, a collaborative company culture and continued opportunities for growth.

As Deputy Editor, you will be managing, curating, and editing across multiple digital channels, as well as writing engaging pieces for their print magazine. In this role, you will ensure that editorial standards are consistent across all platforms, whether you are writing enterprise tech news or longer form content across the website and magazine.

Using your excellent copywriting and journalist skills, you will deliver the latest industry news, so staying up-to-date with trends and competitor content will be a key part of your role.

Working as Deputy Editor, you will have the chance to work with some of the world’s leading tech brands and you will be given an enormous amount of creative freedom, so it is key that you are a seasoned writer who is bursting with ideas!

• In-depth tech knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Knowledge of current tech trends and current news
