Our client is an award winning, innovative communications and public relations agency with an impressive, growth clients, delivering innovative PR strategies to ensure maximum media exposure. Their clients are a blend of disruptive start-ups, financial & investment and tech companies. They complement PR work with content marketing services, such as report writing, blogs and social media helping clients to communicate effectively with potential customers, whether that’s through the media or via their own website and social media platforms. This is a hybrid, you can choose 2 days a week to spend in the office and 3 from home, they are flexible and supportive. As Communications Executive you will be supporting and developing PR and content strategies to ensure positive coverage for clients. Our client is looking for an individual who is keen to develop within the company and as such you will be given increasing responsibility such as developing and presenting pitches for prospective clients and devising strategies to get press coverage.
You’ll be able to produce engaging copy for a range of audiences as well as possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. As Communications Executive you will be confident in the use of social media, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook, ideally from a business perspective.
What do I need?
They are looking for an academic graduate who has worked in relevant internships or a first role and who has exceptional writing capabilities as you will be writing strategic emails to journalists and producing content on behalf of clients. This position would be well suited to someone from a journalism, copywriting or a content marketing background or degree. This role requires stellar ability to produce copy that combines the right messaging, information and tone to delight clients. Vast amounts of experience are not essential, a strong writing ability is!
An interest in current affairs, as well as the tech and finance sectors, is important as you’ll be able to pinpoint links between a business’ products or services and current affairs.
