To convey their message to key stakeholders, they need to conjure emotions of inspiration, energy and trust through words and images used at major stakeholder touchpoints, including both digital and printed communications. The role of the SEO Manager is to take responsibility for all search and content initiatives. This includes:

  • Develop strategies that increase our search engine results rankings
  • Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company’s website and marketing materials
  • Write compelling and high-quality keyword targeted content across multiple channels, including blog posts, website pages, social media etc.
  • Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
  • Efficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goals
  • Collaborate with others within the organisation to maximise our SEO efforts
  • Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine ranking
  • Use Google Analytics to analyse rankings and traffic; use findings to continuously improve optimisation efforts
  • Stay up to date with Google updates and ranking algorithm changes
  • Backlink outreach, researching and engaging with websites which could provide links to the website
  • Keeping a close eye on industry developments

As SEO Manager, you will be highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising SEO strategies that engage, inform, and improve results.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • SEO experience and passion for digital marketing
  • Degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing leading or helping to lead SEO campaigns in both B2C and B2B2C
  • Fantastic copywriting skills to create engaging written content
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking methods and best practices
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
