They are looking for a strategic Sales and Marketing Director to take responsibility for the growth of student numbers at their Canadian University. The exciting part of this role is an opportunity to relocate to Canada after working directly with London leadership for around six months so you would need to be ready to get your bags packed and start a new life abroad!
The Sales & Marketing Director will play a critical role in the continuous development and growth of the global business, taking overall accountability for the development, maintenance and growth of revenues of a portfolio of academic institutions.
As a high-performing, commercial thinking Marketing Director, you will assist the company in its ambitious International expansion and revenue growth objectives. As Sales and Marketing Director you will work with a wider team to take accountability for developing the overarching marketing strategy in Canada (including lead volumes, revenue forecasts and ROI) for all new revenue generation initiatives and campaigns (via all online and offline marketing channels), whilst taking overall accountability for the growth of student numbers.
As a Senior Marketer you will be confidently liaising with stakeholders at all levels and will possess gravitas to develop relationships with senior level executives, collaborating regularly with academic and administrative leaders. You’ll be meeting with key strategic partners and industry influencers, establishing and maintaining positive working relationships. You’ll also be working closely with the SMT to formulate objectives, set KPIs and performance goals for the sales and marketing departments.
Your marketing management skills will be fully utilised with reporting of all marketing performance and lead generation activities so CRM experience is needed. As Sales and Marketing Director you will have exceptional knowledge of sales strategies and concepts along with a history of hitting marketing targets to deliver growth.
Using your strong leadership skills you will oversee the development of the sales and marketing team to ensure that all marketing channels are effectively utilised and targets are achieved. You’ll bring at least 5 years’ experience in a marketing management position from higher or private education. A capable, engaging and motivating Marketing leader is essential who can shape and steer the marketing direction of this successful global higher education company.
