Our client is a full service media agency based in easily accessible north London; they are now looking for a Media Planning Executive to join their thriving team. The successful candidate will be looking for end to end account experience and will be passionate about all things media. Working closely with the Head of Planning and Buying, the Media Planning Executive will be supporting client relationships, media planning, media buying, social activation, and campaign reporting.

An individual with the ability to take ownership of their role and work autonomously is required for this position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to client briefs and delivering across platform media schedules
  • Ensuring that client budgets are monitored
  • Supporting with the day to day planning and management of campaigns
  • Managing the social platforms for a client, including the content creation, optimisation, budget and reporting
  • Attending relevant meetings, events, and trade shows
  • Meeting with leading digital publishers and tech companies alongside conducting independent research to keep up to date with the latest digital trends
  • Building relationships with third parties including media owners and key clients
  • Supporting with the creation of post-campaign analysis; provide clients with a weekly campaign report; update the team on performance and key metrics
  • Scoping, pitching, and executing new initiatives

The Media Planning Executive will need to be highly analytical with the ability to problem solve. Our client is looking for someone with a passion for digital media planning and the ability to work efficiently.

Skills and experience required:

  • At least a years’ experience in a media agency, with some experience activating social campaigns
  • Excellent communication competences, both written and verbal
  • Passion for social media, well versed in strategic approach to channels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
