Marketing Manager – temp to perm – up to £48k (hourly rate) start in January 2021

We are looking for a creative and experienced Marketing Manager for our high-profile membership client. This role is temporary initially, for around three months and could possibly lead to a permanent role, so you must therefore be free to start this fantastic opportunity in early January.

Their history spans more than 100 years, they are a forward thinking, collaborative group who put their members at the heart of everything they do. This role will design, execute and manage marketing strategies and campaigns to deliver corporate leads, sales, and revenue targets to have a real impact on results.

As Marketing Manager, you’ll demonstrate experience managing both teams and budgets. Your broad B2B marketing expertise will see you lead on the development and delivery of marketing strategies and campaigns in conjunction with the Sales team. These will drive growth for corporate leads and sales, both in the UK and in international markets and provide maximum ROI. You will also:

  • Build and drive marketing campaigns that are customer-centric, driven by insight and data, and that support business plans. Marketing campaigns will be required to drive sales on specific products and services to corporate clients (e.g. training, membership, qualifications etc.) and to raise awareness for the overall corporate offer.
  • Lead on the development and co-ordination of marketing and PR initiatives and campaigns that accelerate demand and retention.
  • Lead on the dissemination and interpretation of customer and market data / trends across all regions, identifying opportunities for growth and driving additional marketing activities.
  • Work with the other Marketing Managers to co-ordinate and deliver campaigns and projects, ensuring that the corporate offer is fully integrated.
  • Deliver, test and track marketing programmes using multiple channels, includes delivery of email campaigns, and automated and trigger-based programmes via Marketing Cloud.
  • Build strong relationships with the Sales team, senior stakeholders, and selected clients to gain insight and to guide and build business and marketing plans.
  • Work with the internal teams (Brand and Comms, Design and Print, Database Marketing, Research and Insights, and relevant business units) to deliver high quality and highly effective marketing and sales assets and toolkits, that not only meet customer needs but also follow brand guidelines.

Experience needed:

The Marketing Manager needs to have a relevant business and/or marketing qualification, such as a CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and a proven track record of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns that deliver corporate sales. You will also have a strong background in managing and executing lead generation, nurture campaigns and content marketing. Strong marketing delivery skills are needed including data management, segmentation, and digital marketing. It is also key you have the ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders (internally and externally).
