Email Marketing Executive – innovative education – Up to £28k + bens

Our innovative education client works with schools, colleges, and universities from around the world and enrich educational experiences to deliver unique opportunities to young people.

To convey their message to key stakeholders, they need to conjure emotions of inspiration, energy and trust through words and images used at major stakeholder touchpoints, including both digital and printed communications.

The role of the Email Marketing Executive is to take responsibility for all email marketing initiatives. This includes:

  • Design and implement stunning email marketing campaigns
  • Create automated workflows for customer journeys
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling
  • Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
  • Conceptualise and create new email marketing campaigns/strategies
  • Constantly improve our email templates using graphics, personalisation, and advanced features
  • Ensure accurate database management, implement strategies to keep the database clean and up to date
  • Generate new leads expand our databases
  • Analyse campaign performance and optimisations, track email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates)
  • A/B test all aspects of campaigns for optimum CTR
  • Conduct reporting and high-level analysis of all campaigns
  • Writing an implementing email marketing strategy across both arms of the business (B2C and B2B2C)
  • Collaborate with other teams to create campaigns for their audiences
  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices
  • Design and implement communication strategies for marketing events (launch, build and follow up)

As Email Marketing Executive, you will be highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate. You will need:

  • Degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing leading or helping to email campaigns both B2C and B2B2C
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of email tools like MailChimp
  • HTML and other coding language to improve templates
  • Experience with design software (Canva/adobe suite)
