Having used one agency where the number of candidates dried up fairly quickly I chanced upon Spotlight Recruitment. After briefing them on my requirements I was delighted to receive a steady stream of suitable applicants for my vacant marketing position.
Spotlight have never let us down in finding the perfect individual for the mix of marketing roles that we have. Special praise must go to Camilla for her understanding and ability to find high quality prospective candidates.
THANK YOU for helping to find our Digital Manager replacement. Spotlight did their thing efficiently and thoroughly. You’re a real tonic in an industry that’s become highly unreliable. So thanks to you ALL!

To really impress in an interview you need to prepare, research and, above all, think about what you are going to discuss. Here are some Spotlight pointers to help.
You’ve been Googled – Before an interview gets underway, be aware that a future employer may Google you. If you don’t think your social media profile is suitable, change it.
Research heavy – Know your facts, and use sites such as LinkedIn to research company profiles, reports and forecasts. Find out what format the interview will take, and understand the job specification fully.
The psychology of interviews – If you get nervous, explore why; this will help you improve. Review body language, manner and eye contact, and focus on thinking positively.
Talk only – Prepare well for telephone interviews; set aside ample time, pace yourself and have your CV to hand. Enthusiasm is key; answer questions in detail without talking over the interviewer.
Presentations – This is your chance to shine. Proof-read everything you will present, and practice giving the presentation until you are comfortable with the result.
Any questions? – Use questions wisely. You can show your knowledge and research here and find out more about the company, so don’t just ask about holiday and bonuses. Never say that your questions have all been answered.
The competition – The competition will always be tough, so try to focus on what you can do to make yourself stand out.
Good manners – Always make your interviewer feel appreciated. Call us as soon as you walk out of an interview and we will deliver your prompt feedback immediately to our clients.
