The role

The Digital Marketing Officer will facilitate the development and effective execution of a digital marketing strategy and associated plans which are aligned with the overall business and marketing strategy. The use of current and emerging digital marketing media will be maximised, ensuring the overall on-line presence of the education provider as a brand new and exciting proposition is enhanced and grown over time.

As Digital marketing Officer you will be writing & creating content both strategic and for the website, managing campaigns, engaging with customers and growing the brand. This requires you to be creative with a good eye for design as you will be creating and publishing videos, coordination of photography and other design aspects. The Digital Marketing Officer will also be writing and disseminating press releases and e-newsletters.

The diverse scope of the role will mean you will work with internal stakeholders to drive digital media presence and brand. You will need to develop creative ideas to increase engagement, followers and our talent pool as well as execute and analyse marketing campaigns.

The skills

  • Graduate calibre with suitable marketing qualification such as the CIM or development through the Digital
  • Marketing Institute or equivalent
  • Practical digital marketing experience combined with demonstrable outcomes and results
  • Experience using content management systems and managing website development
  • Ability to us email marketing systems such as MailChimp
  • Experience in using social media to drive ROI and business goals and with Social Media Marketing
  • (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn)
  • High level of proficiency in written English
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • Flexible and agile in approach to delivery and working collaboratively
  • Excellent knowledge of SEO, Google AdWords and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of current and developing social media and how to fully utilise
